Class 2!!!

So here it is, my first official class 2!!! I wish I was better at classifying because I would have declared this patient an exam. Of course I was pretty nervous when Costley found a bunch of missed spots on scale check, yet somehow it turned out alright mostly fours and a three!!! I was really hoping to get at least one quad done and that's exactly what I did even though I thought that would be pushing it since I've never had to fill out an entire health history during the appointment and my patient's was a little more complex than those I've filled out in the past. However my patient was very compliant and fun and he let me complete one whole quad of a class 2!!! I plan on finishing him next clinic time (wednesay because monday is a holiday...)

Sounds like you did the job well done! You should be proud of yourself!!! You got a lot done! It still takes me half an hour to go through some of the health histories my patients have. Don't beat yourself over having missed a lot of spots. We all miss spots; even second years! The best way to learn is from errors. I bet Costley made you go over those spots with an explorer to see if you could feel the calculus. I find it helpful because then I learn how to better differentiate between the tooth and a restoration.
